NetSuite’s native approval can lock the record, so every correction means unwinding the approval. Or it doesn’t stop anything at all, and the warehouse fulfills an order nobody approved.
OrderGate replaces native approval on sales orders and purchase orders. The control sits on the approval state instead of the record. The order can be corrected, and fulfillment and receiving are blocked until it’s approved.
What it does
- Six states: Draft, Pending Approval, Approved, Rejected, Needs Re-Approval and Auto Approved
- An approval portal with pending, approved and rejected tabs, row-level approve and reject, and each approver’s own notification settings
- Every save path is blocked on a held order, including the ones that bypass the normal form
- A nightly sweep keeps NetSuite’s own status field accurate, so WMS, fulfillment screens and saved searches read the right thing
- Set up per record type and subsidiary. Turning it on for another subsidiary is a settings change, not new code
