NetSuite’s AI Connector Service lets Claude, ChatGPT or anything else that speaks MCP read and work with your NetSuite data. When it works it’s a twenty-minute job. When it doesn’t, the error messages don’t help, and the fix is usually a checkbox nobody mentioned. We do this in client accounts regularly and use it in our own work every day.
The part that matters: the role
The connector runs under a NetSuite role, and it can’t be Administrator. Whatever that role can see, the AI can see, and whatever it can’t, the AI silently can’t — an empty result and a forbidden result look identical in a chat window. So the role is a control decision, not a technical one. We build it with you: which record types, which subsidiaries, read-only or not, and who gets to use it.

What you get
- The connector enabled, the MCP Standard Tools installed, and our free AI Connector Companion SuiteApp loaded.
- A custom role (or roles) documented, with the reasoning for what’s in and what’s out.
- Your AI client connected and tested against real questions, with the two causes of wrong answers explained.
- A working session with the people who’ll use it, and written notes afterward.
If you’d rather do it yourself
The connection guide is written so you can, including the “code: Field required” callback error and the duplicate integration record problem. The role design is the part most people want help with.
The first hour is free. Bring us the thing that’s been bothering you and we’ll spend an hour on it with you, in your account, and send written notes afterward whether or not you hire us.
